After moving to London for a few years Splore alumni DJ Jason Eli is back ready to re-establish his credentials at Tapapakanga next February!
Jason Eli’s music career grew from a love of making people dance and a desire to explore musical genres from Latin to House, Soul & Hip-Hop to Disco and beyond. From humble beginnings as a kid growing up in London watching his older cousins play live Funk music in their loft, he’s progressed to remix songs for icon’s including Whitney Houston, perform with DJ’s including Frankie Knuckles and produce music for labels including Motown & many more.
Jason’s Groovadelica radio show proved to be one of George FM’s highlights back in the day with its deep blend of both classic and fresh music, and his DJ set’s have been described as “High dose Nu Boogie”.
