His reputation as a hiphop dj is now surpassed by his ability to skilfully cut, mix and blend through genres that excite him, (namely house, nu:jazz, disco, roots, grime and of course hiphop) enabling him to always turn the party out!
After leaving London and arriving in Aotearoa in 2012, Hudge quickly established himself as a prime mover in Auckland’s music scene. After a 7 year stint on George FM (The Uptown Boogie), he's now found his home over on Auckland’s '95bFM' where he hosts 'Mass Appeal' (Sundays 10-12). He was a fundamental part of the team that opened the award winning venue 'Neck of the Woods' (2014-2020) and also founded the party rocking crews 'Friends & Whānau' and 'The Boog'.
2023 turned into a good year for Hudge with gigs supporting 'The Lahaar' and 'Clear Path Ensemble' (as part of the Jazz Auckland crew), opening for 'Wu Tang' and 'Nas' at the Millennium Dome in London to 20,000 people, headlining the 25th anniversary of London boat party crew 'Take It 2 The Bridge' with a killer set on the Thames, whilst starting the excellent Sunday session 'Mass Appeal Sundays' down at Auckland's viaduct.
