Sandy Mill’s 2018 debut solo EP ‘A Piece of Me’ reached NZ Top 20 charts with its blend of alt-rock, soul & blues. She was also a finalist in the 2018 Waiata Maori Music Awards for 'Best Female Solo Artist'.
An internationally recognised vocalist, collaborator & songwriter, born in Gisborne of Ngati Porou descent, Sandy Mill has worked with The Bellbirds, The Basement Jaxx, Neil Finn, Pitch Black, Placebo, Dick Johnson, Boy George & many more. Sandy performs with SJD, and fronts multi-national band New Telepathics.
Sandy’s band features some of NZ’s finest musicians, with Dianne Swann, Ben King, Milan Borich, Jeremy Toy.
Two new remixes by Dick Johnson and Love Amongst Ruin have just been released on her label She’s Boss Music. Sandy is writing and recording new material for the near future. It's clear this ‘post-punk soul’ artist means business.
