"Some call me crazy but all the best people are."
Singer. Songwriter. Poet. Actress. Pianist. Cabaret Artist. Unashamedly crazy… All things that could be used to sum up the electrically dynamic Rosie Roulette. Born in New Zealand she is now taking Australia by storm with her own quirky style and original music. Based in Melbourne, Rosie most recently performed her show The Queen of Broken Hearts in the Melbourne Fringe Festival to great reviews! Since moving to Melbourne she has also released a solo album called 'Racing the Dark', performed multiple gigs around the city, worked on projects with other industry professionals including Altiyan Childs and won first place in the Fast Track singing competition for 2015.
Coming from a musical theatre background, Rosie studied at NASDA (National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art) in Christchurch, graduating with a Bachelor degree in Performing Arts in 2013. She appeared on New Zealand's Got Talent in 2012 and also worked professionally with companies like Red Rose Theatre, Imagine Youth Theatre and The Court Theatre for a number of years before moving to Melbourne to pursue a solo career in music and cabaret.
Currently, Rosie is working on a brand new single and accompanying music video aimed for release in early 2017. Excited for Splore Festival, Rosie cannot wait to perform and meet new and interesting people!
