Every drop of water is precious. Drink your fill from our drinking water taps – remember to bring a reusable water bottle!

Turn off taps, rinse off in the moana and the lagoon and please be dope, use no soap - look after the creatures that live here, no shampoo and especially no products with micro beads!

He aha te mea nui ō te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata.

What is the most important thing in the world? It is the people, the people, the people.

Be a kind Splorer - help others, look out for and love each other, be part of the solution.

There is absolutely no place for verbal, physical or sexual harassment at Splore. "No" means no!

Make sure you have permission before getting all up in someone's grill: if you're not sure, ask if you can touch someone or give them a hug. Remember: consent is an enthusiastic YES.

Building community
Splore is helping to build community by strengthening our links with like-minded individuals and groups including Ngati Paoa and Ngati Whanaunga (who hold mana whenua in Tapapakanga).

We also send a big shout out to other festivals who are walking along side us, and inspiring us with their exciting, innovative and trailblazing events. We love the work of Shambala, Luminate and Boom.

Keep the festival site clean
Spotted a campsite in desperate need of a clean? Messy neighbours? Help your fellow Splorers to get sorted - lead by example. Or let one of our team members know and we’ll come and muck in.

Together we can all contribute to a connected, vibrant and dynamic Splore community.
