With Matariki upon us (Maori New Year), what better time to be planting trees back at the beautiful Tapapakanga Regional Park
A great opportunity to give back to the Splore site this Sunday 15 June at Tapapakanga Regional Park, we invite you come and plant trees. There are 3500 native trees to plant near to a stream, so everybody welcome. The day starts at 10 a.m, there will be a sausage sizzle around lunchtime and you can stay for as long or as little as you like. There will be signs from the main entrance directing you to the site. Remember your gumboots and a spade if you have one (ARC staff have spare spades). Be great to see you there....
MOMENTS OF IMMERSION: If you haven't already, pop on down to the Centre of Gravity Cafe, Old Public Trust Building, 11 Mayoral Drive, Auckland CBD to check out some great images from Splore 08. MOI has received some great media coverage and is on until the Fri 20 June, Mon-Fri 7am-3pm. If you can't make it we will be uploading images onto the website for your perusal after the exhibition is complete.
