Children at Splore
As Splore’s audience has grown and matured the kids have started to appear in droves, at the last Splore over 600 kids tickets were issued at the gate. Splore 2008 has recognised the changing demographic and has increased the kid-friendly aspects of the festival. Children 13 and under are free if they’re with their parents, and the family camping zone is going to be set as far from the music as possible; so that those of us who need a good rest can get it without strains of the mainstage invading your dreams. Splore 08 is providing shuttle bus to get you and your kids up the hill!! Please note the dreaded Steep Path from 2006 in not to be used as access way between the camping and beach. All access to the beach is via the road which will have a pedestrian path.

Family Camping - An allocated area for family camping is in place. On arrival you need to inform the Splore staff if you intend on camping in this area to receive a pass that will permit you into this area. Family Parking is right next door to the Family Camping area, so there is very little distance to take your camping gear etc. In the family parking area we have allocated an area where those with campers, mobile homes etc can set up.
