Camping
Camping is part of your ticket price! Gates open at midday Fri 8th Feb. No bookings required, first in - first to get the best camping spots.
There are allocated sites for all camping styles - campervans, caravans, housetrucks and tents. Please inform staff at the onsite Ticket Office if you are wanting to stay in the Family Camping area (see map below).
Please note the Camping areas have changed for Splore 08 due to farming practices of the ARC park. We ask you to respect the way we have designed and allocated these areas as there is limited space. Splore 08 camping areas are much closer to the car parking fields which means the distance to transport camping equipment by foot is far less. Camping next to cars is not permitted The Splore Camp Manager will be monitoring these areas to ensure space is maximised and everyone is happy campers. If the signs and maps say NO CAMPING, NO CARS and NO PARKING - then it means just that.
- Theme Camps – come visit those theme campers who are being adventurous and going the extra mile with dressing up their weekend abodes to create great spaces for Splorers to come and play, interact and partake in. Theme Camps include:
Pop Art exSPLOREation
Glamaramazone
Boogie Land
Arabic Chill
The Base Camp
The World Famous Wandering Gypsies - Family Camping – this space is ideal for families and kids to have peace and quiet at all times. If you wish to camp in the Family Camping area please inform staff at onsite Ticket Office to receive your family camping pass to this area.
- Mobile Homes/Campers/House Trucks and Buses - an area has been allocated for these vehicles
- No vehicles will be allowed in the camping areas. It is only a very short walk between parking and the camping areas. Only those who are creating theme camps will be allowed into the theme camp area prior to 11am Friday 8 February to offload necessary equipment.
